As a Head of Logistics Operations CEA, you are responsible for Leading CEA Market Area GLO organization and its operations. Your role plays a crucial part in customer delivery execution in Market Area but also as a part of global logistics network.
You will join a global team of logistics professionals who support Metso aftermarket business growth and provide competitive advantage for better customer delivery performance. Our ambition is to have a global team of engaged and high-performing supply chain professional delivering value to customers.
Responsibilities include
• Lead Operational Logistics and Purchasing in Market Area Logistics Operations and coordinate Collaborative Planning activities.
• Lead MA Distribution Operations in matrix and ensure seamless daily cooperation with other functions MA Logistics Operations.
• Drive operational performance and strategy implementation for Logistics Operations MA.
• Ensure end to end cooperation between Market Area Logistics Operations, centralized GLO functions and other Business Units.
• Represent GLO in the dedicated Market Area.
• Manage necessary import/export formalities and ensure destination operational formalities (incl. reporting) is completed.
• Manage operational (booking to invoice) processes and coordinate that shipments are delivered on-time to destination.
• Continuously improve customer service experience and support Market Area Logistics Operations competence development.
• Manage deployment of organizational and operational changes to Market Area Logistics Operations.
• Support the continuous development of the Logistics Operations operating model and its implementation in Market Areas.
• Ensure Market Area feedback is considered proactively in all GLO operating model development.
• As the Head of Logistics Operations CEA you are part of the Order and Logistics Operations leadership team. Your role demands active participation, seamless collaboration within the leadership team, effective reporting, and the ability to connect the dots for overall success.

To be successful in this role you are experienced in:
- Supply Chain Management in the area of Logistics and Procurement
- Collaborating with Logistic Service Providers
- Leading a team of supply chain professionals
- International business and you have the relevant industry understanding
- Supply processes, practices and tools
- Planning and organizing logistics and in risk management
